Martha Tuller MSN, MBA, RN began teaching at the Health Science Center in 2001. Her passion revolves around nursing administration in the critical-care and emergency environments. Prior to teaching, she practiced here in San Antonio and in Cincinnati, Ohio gaining extensive clinical and administrative experience in a variety of hospital settings. She was on the faculty at the University of the Incarnate Word while working on her graduate degree in Business Administration. Here at the HSC she has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Currently Martha is part of the teaching team for senior students in Adult II (care of the acutely ill patient) and Leadership & Management. Her research interest area is improving the clinical experiences of our students through better preparation of preceptors, teaching assistants, and mentors.
