Dr. Campbell currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is currently the acting chief of the Spinal Cord Injury Service in the South Texas Veterans Health Care System and has held other administrative positions including the Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Reeves Rehabilitation Center in University Hospital. Dr. Campbell belongs to many professional organizations including the American Spinal Cord Injury Association, the American Paraplegia Society,the Association of Academic Physiatrists and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His current focus in research applies to pain and spasticity in spinal cord injured patients.
