| Neuro-ophthalmology conference primarily for neurology and ophthalmology residents. Twice-monthly conference for residents in both specialties that is case-based and Socratic in nature. Over the academic year a series of cases is chosen to illustrate diagnostic and treatment issues for the range of neuro-ophthalmology disorders and presented. Participation by the residents is elicited during the conference to encourage analysis of clinical data and synthesis of a differential diagnosis, recommendation of diagnostic studies whose results are then revealed, and finally, formulation of a treatment plan. Comment and criticism is ongoing during the conference, which ends with a review of the condition under discussion by me. | |||

| Since the second year medical students have participated in a physical examination course to examine patients with neurologic diseases. One neurology faculty and one patient meet with 4 groups of 10 medical students during each afternoon session. The neurology faculty demonstrates the abnormal findings of the involved patient and then monitors each individual students examination of those same abnormal findings. | |||
