John C. King, M.D. is a Professor with tenure with the Dept of Rehabilitation Medicine, and is Director of the Reeves Rehabilitation Center at University Hospital, as well as President of the Assn of Academic Physiatrists, and author of many journal articles. Dr. King is a graduate of Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and served his Residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident in his final year. He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and is certified in electrodiagnostic medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain medicine, and spinal cord injury medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2007 he was presented with the Distinguished Clinician Award of the American Academy of Physicial Medicine and Rehabilitation.
