Claudia Miller, M.D., M.S. is a tenured Professor in Environmental and Occupational Medicine, Assistant Dean for the MD/MPH Program, and Vice Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). She has more than 30 years experience in public health, environmental health and medicine with various federal agencies and universities, serving in teaching, research, clinical and administrative roles.

| Grant Detail | UTHSCSA will serve as the south Texas Center for the National Children''s Study (NCS). This study is long-term longitudinal study of broad-based environmental influences on children. There will be three sites in south Texas - Bexar County, Hidalgo County and Travis County. The protocol is set by the National Steering Committee and will enroll participants prior to or early in pregnancy and then follow the children for 21 years. |
