| Grant Detail | To expand mental health training by teaching residents 18 specific skills that promote mental health and prevent mental illness in patients who are (1) mentally healthy, (2) at risk for mental disorders, (3) have mental health problems/symptoms and (4) have mental illness. Cultural competency training, using an innovative ethnographic approach that will be integrated throughout the curriculum will inform and enhance these skills. |
