| Module Director for Preventive Methods 2 component of this Clinical Introduction Course. Preparation for course included identification and formulation of four cases for group discussions. The case presentations includes review of charts, identification and assessment of oral disease risk factors, development of a preventive plan and preventive counseling/ education that is indicated for risk reduction. Students worked individually and then in groups of four prior to presenting their findings and recommendations to the entire group of 8 students. Discussions followed. |

| 2 hour lecture to DS II students regarding Ergonomics that identified the risks and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders associated with dentistry and gave instruction on how to prevent occupational injuries by proper office design, seating , posture, work schedule, etc.
