Bronchoscopy- Served as a expert specialist who can perform bronchoscopy for pediatric patients. The majority of bronchoscopes were for investigation for anatomical disorders or for infectious disease . |
Pediatric Asthma Management- Served as an expert in asthma mangement for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital while acting pulmonologist |
Pediatric Noninvasive Ventilation- I am interested and follow patients who require long term usage of noninvasive ventilation. I created and supervise a comprehensive program were patients receive support and education while using nocturnal ventilation.My program currently cares for over 170 patients who rely on CPAP or BiPAP to breath at night. |
Pediatric Sleep Medicine- I am the only sleep board specialist in the department of pediatrics. I also serve as the medical director of the Children`s Sleep Center at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children`s Hospital. I oversee all functions of the lab perform QA studies and oversee four sleep technicians,one respiratory therapist ,one medical assistant and a sleep supervisor. |

Grant Detail | PID (160633) - Observational Study of T2 Diabetes Children who have completed the TODAY Study with medical therapy and annual studies. TODAY study data is currently being analyzed. This study will then be further extended by final design which is under development and incorporating preliminary TODAY outcome data. Hentschel-Franks examined the polysomography documentation for the participant cohort. |
