Hematological Malignancies- I have clinical and basic research training in hematology malignancies, with particular emphasis in lymphomas and leukemias. I have been working in this area since completing my fellowship training and obtaining my PhD degree, in 1994. The research program in my lab is centered on these disorders, and we have extensive track record of publications, funding and teaching in this field. |
Molecular and Cellular Biology- Molecular and cellular biology are centerpieces of the research projects in my laboratory. We have outstanding training on these areas (University of London and Harvard Medical School) and utilize state of the art molecular and cellular approaches to the study of cancer. |
Translational Research- Most of our research endeavors in my group are aimed at bringing laboratorial findings to the clinical practice translational research. We have extensive demonstrated standing in this field, including numerous publications and funded research projects. In addition, most of our teaching activity to the graduate students, clinical fellows, and faculty, highlights the relevance of translational research in contemporary cancer biology. |
