Title | Project Variable-Length Cognitive Processing Therapy for Combat Related PTSD |
Status | Active |
Period | 9/2012 - 8/2017 |
Role | Principal Investigator |
Grant Detail | The specific aims of this current project are to: (1) determine if Service Members reach good end-state functioning at varying lengths of CPT-C treatment and characterize the distribution of response (i.e., early, standard, late, or non-responders), (2) to examine predictors (e.g., military factors, trauma history, internalizing/externalizing personality characteristics, cognitive flexibility, readiness to change) of length of treatment and treatment success, (3) to examine secondary outcomes (e.g., social/family functioning, aggression, health-risk behaviors) of variable-length CPT treatment. |

Title | Project Clinical Effectiveness of In-Home Cognitive Processing Therapy for Combat-Related PTSD |
Status | Active |
Period | 9/2012 - 8/2016 |
Role | Principal Investigator |
Grant Detail | The specific aims of this current project is to develop a randomized, controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the feasibility and clinical effectiveness of three modes of delivery of cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). CPT will be delivered face-to-face in home (F2F-H), provided as telebehavioral health delivered to the home (TBH-H), and provided face-to-face in an office visit (F2F-O). |
