Ronda Lantz, RN, MSN, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She has been an RN for over 30 years working mostly in intensive care units and teaching as a clinical instructor in nursing. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 13 years in ambulatory care settings working across the age spectrum and managing acute and chronic disease and injury and promoting preventive health care. She also manages about 30 patients in an anticoagulation clinic. She is the clinic contact and on the board of the San Antonio Reach Out and Read program which promotes literacy and parent/child health.
