| I developed a Practice Management module for teaching residents about the business of medicine. I received resident feedback that they wanted more information on private practice. I organize a quarterly lecture series which includes speakers from within our institution (billing/coding experts as well as risk management) and private practice physicians. I wrote all the course goals and objectives. I have given 6 of the lectures. Since 2006 we have covered topics such as Interviewing for jobs and physician employment contracts. Resident feedback has been positive for this experience. | |||
