Bioinformatics/Computational Biology -
Experience building gene regulatory network models using gene expression as well as perturbation analysis to find upstream regulators and downstream targets of regulatory genes.
Experience analyzing genomic sequence data to search for transcriptional and post-transcriptional cis-regulatory elements using phylogenetic footprinting. |
Mouse models of cancer -
Experiments involving measuring tumor burden as well as characterization of the immune response using optical imaging and flow cytometry.
Experience with syngeneic mouse tumor models. Intraperitoneal ID8 tumor in C57BL/6 mice.
Subcutaneous EL4/EG7 and B16 tumor in C57BL/6 mice.
Subcutaneous ANV atumor in FVB mice. |
Optical imaging -
Experience with a variety of optimal imaging techniques including fluorescence stereomicroscopy, wide field epifluorescence microscopy, confocal and multiphoton microscopy. |
