Dr. Nathaniel A. Jeske was born in Midland, Michigan and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 1999 with a dual degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, with Honors. He completed his Doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 2003 with a degree in Pharmacology. He completed a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 2006.

Dr. Jeske is a member of the Texas Academy of Science, the Society for Neuroscience and the International Association for the Study of Pain. He has published in numerous peer reviewed journals including the Journal of Neuroscience Research, Journal of Neurochemistry, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

Dr. Jeske is married to Jennifer. They have two children, Grace, age 5 and Jacob, age 2.
