I am a physician scientist specializing in the care of children with neurological and developmental disabilities, including genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, and other disorders. My long-term research goals are to develop clinical treatments to address the symptoms and underlying defects in genetic syndromes, and to better understand the mechanisms that cause developmental disabilities in general so that new preventive measures and clinical treatments may be developed. |
