Dr. Suchina, a native of Houston, attended Tulane University and the University of Houston, where he received a BS Degree (Biology) in 1974. After receiving a DDS degree in 1979 from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch, Dr. Suchina received a Certificate in Endodontics and an MS degree in 1983. In 1990 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He maintained part-time practices in general dentistry from 1979-83 and endodontics from 1983 to the present. Dr. Suchina was a faculty member at the UT-Houston Dental Branch for 26 years, initially in the Prosthodontics Department, then for many years in the Department of Endodontics. After leaving the university in early 2007 for private practice, he returned to teaching in late 2009. Dr. Suchina joined the faculty of the Endodontics Department at UTHSCSA Dental School in 2010. He is a member of the AAE, ADA, TDA, SADDS and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. |
