Clinical Instructor for didactic adult chronic illness course for third semester undergraduate nursing students. Responsible for creating lesson plans, learning modules (both lecture and web-based)and maintaining currency for 4 theory topics (diabetes, chronic liver disease, endocrine disorders, cancer). Assist with the creation and administration of student examinations. Maintain CANVAS learning platform for course. Deliver content on Ethics, Stress and Coping subjects for Concepts of Nursing course to first semester nursing students. Clinical instructor responsible for the learning and evaluation of assigned students in a medical-surgical practice setting. Ensures appropriate clinical assignments, monitor staff/student interactions, evaluate clinical skill performance, written and verbal communication skills, collaboration actions, and critical thinking skills.
