Li, Fuyang

Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
Molecular Medicine

I am currently an Assistant Professor/Research in Department of Molecular Medicine. My expertise is in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and genetics. I have studied 1) the regulation of tumor angiogenesis, 2) the interplay between oncogene N-MYC and tumor suppressor gene NDRG2, 3) the development of targeting DNA methylation for specific gene silencing, and 4) the mechanism of DNA double strand break repair. I made significant progression in all the projects, with multiple first author publications on high profile Journal (JBC 2006, Nucleic acid Research, 2007; Molecular Cell 2008, EMBO J 2013, EMBO J 2014).
Currently I am working on the repair mechanism of Top1-mediated toxic intermediate.
