Dr. Brandon Bolfing is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He has also been the Medical Director of the UT Medicine - Westover Hills Clinic since 2013. The clinic is multidisciplinary with general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, ophthalmology, and psychology on site and provides a number of services and procedures such as biopsies, allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, and joint injections. He also teaches medical students in the clinic multiple times a week. Since becoming medical director, Dr. Bolfing has been actively involved in the development of a Primary Care Center (PCC), including family medicine, internal medicine, and geriatrics, as well as the transformation both of the Westover Clinic and the PCC to a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). He continually focuses on improving both the patient experience and staff and provider engagement. Dr. Bolfing enjoys the challenges of providing truly comprehensive care that encompasses a very wide spectrum of patient problems.
