Jolly Punchamannil joined the Nursing Faculty at the University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio in the Spring of 2014. Jolly brings a wealth of clinical expertise to the School of Nursing, University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSA). Although born and studied in India, she has worked in various countries, and with various cultures. She has worked in various Mediterranean countries such as Bahrain, Oman, and the united Arab Emirates. she has served the General Head Quarters of the United Arab Emirates prior to coming to the United States in 2004. She has worked at Methodist Hospital, San Antonio as the charge nurse of the Women`s Oncology unit from 2006 August-2014 April. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing Administration with a clinical emphasis on Nursing Education from University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Board certified Nurse executive since 2015. Currently, she is enrolled in Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at University of Alabama at Huntsville, and is expected to graduate in December 2017.
