Expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) consultation model. The PCBH model is a psychological approach to population-based clinical health care that is simultaneously collaborative and integrated within a primary care clinic. The goal of PCBH is to improve and promote overall health within the general primary care population. One of the tenets of this approach to primary care is the integration of a behavioral health consultant (BHC) into the primary care setting to provide brief (15-25 minute visits) to improve access to behavioral interventions to impact the overall health and quality of life of each patient receiving services. |
