Ronda Lantz, RN, MSN, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She has been an RN for over 40 years. She worked initially as an RN in intensive care units and as a clinical instructor in nursing. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 20 years in family medicine clinics working across the age spectrum and managing acute and chronic disease and injury and promoting preventive health care. She also manages patients in a clinic based anticoagulation clinic and co-directs the Tobacco Cessation Treatment Program for the Primary Care Clinic. She is the clinic contact and on the board of the San Antonio Reach Out and Read program which promotes literacy and parent/child health.
