Ermer, MS, RN, Glenn R.

School of Nursing
Office for Faculty Excellence

I joined the UT Health School of Nursing faculty in January 2013. My teaching experiences have been exclusively in the adult medical/surgical courses - both theory and clinical. I have been a registered nurse for over 35 years with a clinical background focused primarily in the adult critical care area.
I earned my BSN and MS in Nursing from the University of North Dakota. In addition to these degrees I have formal training in Neurosurgical and Trauma nursing. I hold national certification in critical care nursing (CCRN-K).
During my nursing career I have held positions as clinical nurse, nurse manager, and nurse administrator.
I am a military veteran who, in addition to multiple assignments, served as the intensive care unit nurse manager in a forward deployed combat hospital in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
