Chidinma Aniemeke, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Physician and Geriatric Medicine physician whose passion is caring for adults 65 years of age and older and partnering with them to maintain a good quality of life, their integrity, and independence. Dr. Aniemeke earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed her internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and her Family Medicine residency and Geriatric Medicine fellowship at UT Health San Antonio.

Dr. Aniemeke cares for patients in in multiple settings. Her ambulatory clinic, the UT Health Senior Health Clinic is located at the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Tower II on Babcock Road and UT Hill Country Clinic. She cares for hospitalized patients at the Acute Care of the Elder (ACE) Unit at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospice, post-acute care, nursing home, and inpatient rehabilitation facility.

In addition to her patient-care activities, Dr. Aniemeke teaches and mentors medical students and residents and conducts quality improvement projects to enhance patient care. She teaches medical students and residents in her clinic, the ACE Unit, the post-acute care setting, nursing homes, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities in San Antonio. She has mentored two students in the Translational Mentorship Program, serves on the Long School of Medicine?s Admission Committee where she interviews medical school applicants, including students in the Joint Admissions Medical Program (JAMP). She is also a member of the Inclusion and Diversity committee of the school. She is involved in several quality improvement projects that aim to improve the care of her patients, and she has presented other quality improvement projects at national meetings.
